What running it in a browser actually changes
The interesting part of playing online is not convenience. It is that the evening survives the device you played it on.

What a session in the browser looks like
You pick who you are taking out, set four dials, and the read-out moves as you go. Pressing run starts the conversation, and from there it is typing — she answers in about a second, and the plan you set is visible in what she says rather than buried in a variable somewhere.
When you close the tab the run stops where it is. Coming back later picks it up with the log intact, which is the part people notice on the second evening rather than the first.
